LFW Autumn - Winter 2012: Dans La Vie

Who: Rira Sugiwara of Dans La Vie

What: Dans La Vie Autumn/Winter 2012 collection combines '60s American pop art and the spiritual character of a Japanese high priest "Kukai"'.

Python prints, leopard fur collars, retro abstract shapes and Marilyn-esque fluorescent hair: Andy Warhol meets japanese street style.

Interesting Fact: The hair of people in the front row was even more colourful than the models'!

Cosa: La collezione autunno/inverno 2012 di Dans La Vie unisce l'arte pop Americana degli anni '60 alla spiritulità del monaco giapponese Kukai.

Stampe a pitone, colli di pelliccia leopardata, forme optical retro, e capelli fluorescenti alla Marilyn: Andy Warhol incontra lo street style giapponese.

Curiosità: Le acconciature del pubblico in prima fila avevano colori addirittura più sgargianti di quelle delle modelle.

Who: Alice Lee

What: Alice Lee Autumn/Winter 2012 collection is inspired by a dark romantic aesthetic.

The designer created a perfect balance between hard and soft textures and silhouettes.

Minimalist knitwear in the shades of white, red, brown and green.

Interesting Fact: The models' hair, wrapped around their faces, completely covered their eyes (they gave themselves a well-deserved applauseat the end of the show!).

Chi: Alice Lee

Cosa: La collezione autunno/inverno 2012 di Alice Lee è ispirata a un'estetica dark-romantica.

La designer è riuscita a creare un perfetto equilibrio tra rigidità e mobidezza nei materiali e nelle silhouette dei suoi abiti. Maglieria minimalista nei toni di bianco, rosso, marrone e verde.

Curiosità: Le modelle portavano i capelli attorcigliati intorno al viso e i loro occhi risultavano del tutto coperti (meritato è stato quindi l'applauso che le ragazze si sono fatte l'un l'altra al termine dello show!).
