DIY: Make Your Own Nail Polish

Have you ever longed for a particular shade of nail polish but couldn't find exactly what you were looking for? Or maybe you don't want to waste money on a quirky colour you'll use only a few times?

Then why don't you make your own nail polish?

You'll be surprised by how simple it is!

Here's what you need:

~ 1 bottle of clear (or white) nail polish.

~ 1 teaspoon of crushed (or loose) eye shadow. Any colour will do.

~ Your choice of glitter.

~ A piece of paper.

~ A wooden stick.

Step 1

Roll a piece of paper into a cone, making sure it fits into the top of the nail polish bottle.

Step 2

Position the funnel and use it to pour the eye shadow into the bottle. Mix well using the wooden stick.

Step 3

Pour the glitter (we used blue glitter powder and tiny moons). Mix again.

Step 4

Give yourself an amazing manicure!

Time required: about 10 mins.

Avete desiderato una particolare sfumatura di smalto senza riuscire a trovarla da nessuna parte? O forse non avete voglia di spendere tanti soldi per un colore stravagante che probabilmente indosserete solo un paio di volte?

Allora perche non creare il proprio smalto?

Rimarrete sorpresi da quanto sia facile!

Ecco cosa occorre:

~ 1 boccetta di smalto trasparente (o bianco)

~ 1 cucchiaino di ombretto sbriciolato (o in polvere). Del colore che preferite.

~ Glitter a vostra scelta

~ Un pezzo di carta

~ Uno stecchino di legno

Step 1

Arrotolate la carta formando un cono che servirà da imbuto.

Step 2

Posizionatelo nella boccetta di smalto e usatelo per versare l'ombretto. Mescolate bene usando lo stecchino di legno.

Step 3

Versate il glitter (noi abbiamo scelto polvere azzurra e mini lune). Mescolate ancora.

Step 4

Stendetelo sulle unghie e ammirate  il risultato!
