Bath Spa University

               Chloe Jones -
Our Father Who Art in Heaven

Inspired by the Gothic architecture, stained glass windows and the ethereal figures that inhabit them, the collection combines elements of both sportswear and couture.

Rebecca Butterworth - A Shirne to Childhood
Infant's souls descend upon the living on the Day of the Innocents, inhabitating shirnes erected in their memory littered with their former belongings. Heavily inspired by the haunting and revealing work and life of Frida Kahlo, the collection sees a rethinking of traditional Mexican craft.

Emily Button - Lustre
Each outfit is inspired by a different platonic shape, giving a visual presence to the empowered and strong minded individual.

Rebecca Ward - Protect Me Please?
The innate need to protect and be protected. Focusing on people whose objective is to protect from British knights to Japanese Samurai warriors.

Lara Chipping - Folk Fusion
Uniting different cultures by blending together national costumes from around the world. The alternating panels of the patterned and plain fabric used in each outfit highlight the mix of different influences, representing distinctive countries and regions.

Alanna Kaye - Imitation
The collection reflects my heritage from The West and Africa; exploring ways that these two diverse continents have merged. Initially inspired by the young boys from the Xhosa tribe, who upon initiation, are transformed into young western gentlemen and discard their childhood wardrobe.

Stefanie Hodson - Gone Fishing
A casual, brightly coloured, young and fun, womenswear collection with a strong functional theme; which was initially inspired by the proportions and shapes of a retro rucksack and fishing vest.

Emily Rickard - Simultaneity
The collection is inspired by 1920s leisurewear and the work of Sonia Delaunay, using abstract patterns and stripes to depict clashing personas.

Rebecca Head - 1/600
Inspired by the Lysomal Storage Disease, Gaucher Disease, which I was diagnosed with 2 years ago. Shape, silhouette and proportion are inspired by playing with volume to mimic the way Gaucher disease affects a select few organs in the body.
