Olympic Games in London 2012

Did you watch the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony last night? 

 Arctic Mokeys performing The Beatles, the British pop culture mash-up, the celebration of the country's history and culture and the final Paul McCartney's Hey Jude : the atmosphere at the stadium and on the streets was electrifying. 

The city is so excited and beautifully decorated. 

We love being in London right now!

Avete visto la cerimonia di apertura delle olimpiadi ieri sera? 

Arctic Monkeys che cantavano i Beatles, mash-up di cultura pop British, celebrazione della storia e della cultura del paese e grande finale di Paul McCartney con Hey Jude: l'atmosfera di festa nello stadio e per le strade è fantastica. 

La città è frizzantissima e decorata alla perfezione. 

E' bellissimo essere a Londra in questo momento!

London Fashion Week - Leutton Postle Autumn Winter 2012 /2013

Let's take a look at what London Fashion has in store for us:

Leutton - Postle won the VFS merit award with their Spring/Summer 2012 debut collection. 

This show was one of those we were looking forward to see them most and we weren't disappointed by it: the new collection is amazing!

We could recognise their signature look in the choice of geometric patterns and materials, which, together with the masks worn by the models, created the perfect combination between Picasso and tribal Africa.

Leutton - Postle hanno vinto il premio VSF con la loro collezione di debutto primavera/estate 2012. 

Questo show era uno dei più attesi da noi e non siamo state deluse: la nuova collezione è fantastica!

Si riconosce il loro stile particolare e personale nelle stampe geometriche e nella scelta dei materiali, che, insieme alle maschere indossate dalle modelle, creano la perfetta combinazione tra Picasso e l'Africa tribale.

What:  A suggestive Spanish inspiration. Andalusia. Ponchos, cosy knits, sporty silhouettes, and tulip dresses in rusty shades of red and brown and pure white. Luxurious snakeskin and hard leather.

Cosa: Una suggestiva ispirazione spagnola. Andalusia. Pochos, maglioni pesanti, silhouettes sportive e vestiti a tulipano nei toni del bianco puro, del marrone e del rosso ruggine. Capi in pelle rigida o lussuosa di serpente.

Maybe we're lucky, but we still need to find an online shopping store that doesn't meet our expectations.

Forse siamo noi ad essere fortunate, ma, fino ad adesso, non abbiamo ancora trovato un negozio di shopping online che non rispecchiasse le nostre aspettative.

Ci sono un sacco di montature diverse su Firmoo, ma abbiamo apprezzato sopratutto quelle di ispirazione retro.

What:  Naive childhood and gothic details. Soft colours splashed with ruby red, orange and pink. Dark tights, dark makeup.

Cosa: Ingenuità dell'infanzia e dettagli gotici. Colori tenui ravvivati da note arancioni, rosso rubino e rosa brillante. Collant scuri, trucco  scuro.

GROUPON review part 1

Probabilmente lo conoscete già ma, per chi non ne ha ancora sentito parlare,
Groupon è il sito che permette di acquistare, 
con buoni sconto molto vantaggiosi (fino al 70%), offerte di varie aziende. 

Ci sono proposte nuove ogni giorno e le possibilità sono molto ampie. 

In questo momento, per esempio, si può acquistare un coupon per un soggiorno 
di 7 notti in Sardegna - del valore di 260 euro - a soli 99 euro, 
ma anche un rullo da pittura a 15.90 euro invece di 40 :D

A dire il vero conoscevamo poco questo sistema, ma quando Groupon.it ci ha proposto di recensire il servizio ci siamo subito appassionate. 

L'idea del sito è senz'altro ottima, e ben sperimentata all'estero.

Noi purtroppo siamo sempre indecise e, a causa della rapida rotazione delle offerte,
abbiamo visto scadere i tempi per le sedute dall'estetista e dal parrucchiere che avevamo deciso di prendere in un primo momento. 

Abbiamo quindi optato per due Offerte Shopping. 

L'ordine è stato molto semplice, come la scelta dei metodi di pagamento. 

Adesso non ci resta che aspettare la consegna!

Cosa: L'abbigliamento sportivo incontra lo chic cittadino. Semplicità in stile anni '90 e sartoria moderna dal taglio pulito. Pelle, shearling e cashmere in una paletta di bianco, nero, cammello, color cioccolato e toni scuri dell'arancione.

 

Pringle of Scotland Menswear Spring Summer 2013 Show

After Balenciaga, Marni, Cacharel and Chloè, Alistair Carr is going to leave Pringle of Scotland.

We don't know what his next move will be yet, but we really enjoyed attending the show of his last collection at the Hospital Club in Covent Garden.

The collection combines elements of old and new: traditional English country pursuits like fishing and hunting meet modern functional wear.

Dopo Balenciagam Marni, Cacharel e Chloè, Alistair Carr sta per lasciare anche Pringle of Scotland. 

Non sappiamo ancora quale sarà il suo prossimo passo, ma ci siamo davvero divertite allo show  della sua ultima collezione allo Hospital Club in Covent Garden.

La collezione unisce elementi di vecchio e nuovo: passatempi tradizionali della campagna inglese come la caccia e la pesca incontrano l'abbigliamento funzionale moderno.
