London Fashion Week: Corrie Nielsen S/S 2013

This illustration was made by us for Amelia's magazine

Who: Corrie Nielsen
What:  A collection of feminine and delicate dresses, blouses and trousers ispired by the flora, the fauna and the glass house architecture of London's Royal Botanic Gardens.
Petals, stamen, anthers and other flower parts have been reinterpreted by the stylist with lightweight and luxurious fabrics, natural and pale colours and flowery silhouettes.
Interesting Fact: The show is entitled Florilegium which literally means "the gathering of flowers" even if it usually refers to a collection of wiritings.

Chi: Corrie Nielsen

London Fashion Week: Louise Gray S/S 2013

We want to start our review of the LFW experience with one of our favourite shows of the season: the Louise Gray's catwalk at The Topshop Showspace.
It's easy to see why Louise Gray was one of the hot-ticket of this Fashion Week's schedule!

What: a colourful jigsaw of patterns and textures. Abstract graphics and edgy silhouettes, eclectic accessories and artistic make-up. An impeccable collection.
Interesting fact: the canvas shopper goodie bags were beautiful and the first row guests received a Barbie doll dressed by the designer :)
