Born out of the internet and the social media (Tumblr and Twitter, in particular), the microtrend of Seapunk is inspiring a new wave of music, fashion, graphic design, as well as a whole lifestyle.
You can only try to describe the Seapunk look as a mixture of 1990s popular culture imagery, aqua colours, oceanic landscapes and dreamscapes and images of dolphins, waves and geometric shapes. The more absurd and ironic the better.
